Facilities and Educational Model Workshops
November 19 & 20, 2008. Community center - Island Room.

Participate in this unique opportunity to continue crafting our new High School and Community Learning Center, guided by renowned consultants in education and educational facilities planning. Review results of last month’s Visioning and Educational Models workshops and learn about the Educational Models and facilities, specific to our proposed High School and Community Learning Center, as recommended by Village’s consultants.


 

Schedule

Workshops will repeat and alternate mornings and evenings on the 19 and 20 of November to facilitate participation of as many community members as possible.

Signature Workshop:
Community Ethos and Site & Facility Recommendations

Wednesday, Nov. 19, 8:45 AM - 11:00 AM. Repeats on Thursday, Nov. 20, 7:15 PM - 9:30 PM

Delving deeper into the community ethos to create a school signature regardless of where the facility goes. Site and facility recommendations will be discussed based upon the community's responses to last month's workshops.

Feasibility Workshop:
Creating a Successful Model for the Key Biscayne Community

Wednesday, Nov. 19, 7:15 PM 9:30 PM. Repeats on Thursday, Nov. 20, 8:45 AM - 11:00 AM

Results from last month's workshops will be shared and discussed, as well as feasibility of Educational models desired by the Key Biscayne community and recommendations for a successful Educational Model.
